He said he thinks they aren't very consistinent with their dimensions. I called bonzi yesterday about it and they said when they designed that clutch they bought 10 flex shafts from proboat and checked the end dimensions on them and designed it to fit those. But noticed the flex shaft fits a little loose in the square reciever and when I ran the boat the cable would lock in the reciever.
So picked up the bozi replacement clutch for the blackjack 55 its a nice clutch dual bearings etc.
My clutch bell snapped off 2 weeks ago at the weld(not spot welded very good).
Every once in a while when I start mine up after a run or two it will rev up and the clutch kicks in and then it settles down or I set it in the water and it will idle back down.
